Yoga, it must be mentioned, provided Lisa with tremendous emotional, spiritual and physical solace during her prolonged illness and recovery last year. And now, she is ready to share her yoga knowledge with the world.Lisa says there`s no room for marriage in her life right now.

"This news has come completely out of left field. It was most unexpected! I`d love to clarify matters as I`m working on projects in India and don`t want my work colleagues out in India to get the impression that I`m not committed to my projects and work out there," she told reporters.

Asked about the status of her relationship with her faithful companion Brett Wilson, she replied: "The point is, marriage is not on the cards. The news that came out is unfounded. I am very good friends with Brett and I described marriage as an `imperfect institution` to make light of the situation, not to make light of marriage."Lisa said she was excited about her projects this year.

"I`m opening a hot yoga studio here in Brampton, Canada. There`s so much to look forward to this year. Every day is a blessing. I was recently at the Toronto Film Critics Association dinner where I was surrounded with love and compliments on my `second coming` (the near-death illness).

"I`m working on a kick-ass series for TLC. Finalising some film projects soon. Involved in another momentous stem-cell event in Toronto. Life is grand. I`m so blessed to live and work in two different worlds," she said.

Denise Richards is worried about ex-husband Charlie Sheen, who recently checked himself into a rehab.

"Charlie surrounds himself with `yes` people. If you say `no` to him, then you are out of his life. Denise is one of the only people that could convince him.

It wouldn`t be the first time Denise has begged for him to get the help he needs, but everyone is hoping that this time he listens to her," the source said.

"It is becoming harder and harder for Denise to protect her daughters from what`s going on as they get older.

She`s an amazing mother and will not let Charlie leave these two beautiful little angels without a father.

If she can`t convince Charlie to get help simply because it`s what he needs, then she hopes he will for the sake of his daughters," the source added.

The former couple has two daughters - Sam J. Sheen, 6, and Lola Rose Sheen, 5.

Kanye West’s Monster Has Received Controversial Responses

Rapper Kanye West’s new video clip for his song ‘Monster’ has received controversial responses from critics, fans and commentators, with some saying its awesome, while others called it creepy.

The nearly six-minute clip featured an onslaught of depraved scenes, with hanging models dangling from the ceiling on chains, and West rapping while casually holding a woman’s severed head that is still dripping blood

The clip is the work of Jake Nava, the mastermind behind Beyonce’s ‘Single Ladies’, Kelis’ ‘Milkshake’ and Usher’s ‘Burn’.

Social commentator Melinda Tankard Reist has denounced West’s work and started a petition against it, partly sponsored by the Coalition Against Trafficking Women in Australia, which has sought to ban the official release of the video.

“The music industry’s portrayals of women’s pain, suffering, abuse, objectification, and victimisation as valid forms of entertainment are not acceptable,” quoted Reist as writing.

“The clip is not only interested in fetishizing female bodies it revels in fetishizing female pain, female passivity, female suffering and female silence.

“The ultimate female is the quiet, passive female a mannequin who accepts violence, abuse and suffering while remaining hot and sexy,” she stated.

Others, however, have interpreted West’s video as a twisted fairytale that skewers the cult of celebrity and the baseness of those attracted to fame.

James Bond producers are reportedly keen to sign Rachel Weisz as the spy’s arch enemy in the upcoming Bond film.

But there are fears she could reject the role because of her alleged romance with leading man Daniel Craig.

Sacha Baron Cohen Will Be Playing Saddam Hussein

As if his portrayals of Borat and Bruno weren`t outrageous enough, Sacha Baron Cohen`s next role will be playing Saddam Hussein.

Larry Charles, who directed Baron Cohen in "Bruno" and "Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan," will direct once again.

"The Dictator" is inspired by a book the former Iraqi leader himself wrote, titled "Zabibah and The King."

Paramount joked in a news release: "The film tells the heroic story of a dictator who risked his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed."

Actor George Clooney Suffered From Malaria

George Clooney

Hollywood heartthrob and rights activist George Clooney contracted malaria during his recent visit to Sudan for voting there and had a "bad 10 days," he said in comments to be aired Friday. The A-list star jokingly agreed that Sudanese President Omar al-Beshir, who is wanted for war crimes and genocide by the International Criminal Court (ICC), may be to blame for the mosquito bite that infected him.

"I guess the mosquito in Juba looked at me and thought I was the bar," he quipped, according to an advance copy of excerpts of an interview with new CNN talk show host Piers Morgan. Morgan, who took over from Larry King at the cable news channel this week, asked whether Clooney thought Beshir had "detached a detail of sickly, vengeful mosquitoes to target you whenever you arrive?" "Yeah," Clooney responded, pursuing the joke.

"I think so." Malaria can cause fever, chills, muscle aches, nausea and diarrhea, as well as jaundice, turning the skin and whites of the eyes yellow. Clooney said he had suffered from it twice, but did not elaborate on what symptoms he had. A spokesman for Clooney told AFP the star was now well again. "George is completely over the malaria he contracted while in the Sudan during the first week in January. This was his second bout with it."

And he quoted Clooney as saying: "This illustrates how with proper medication, the most lethal condition in Africa, can be reduced to a bad 10 days instead of a death sentence." Morgan, a media-savvy former British journalist turned talent show host and celebrity expert, later tweeted: "Clooney malaria update: now have 24,563 offers to nurse him. "But his rep says medication’s worked and he’s OK. Sorry, ladies," Morgan added on micro-blogging site Twitter.

Clooney traveled to southern Sudan in early January in a show of support for the impoverished region ahead of a referendum on separating the mainly Christian, African south from the mainly Arab, Muslim north. The actor was working on a Google-powered mapping project aimed at preventing abuses in Sudan, and in theory to gather evidence that could be used if Beshir is ever brought before the Hague-based ICC. "We are hoping it is one of many tools to continue to apply pressure, at the very least, to gather evidence that could be used at The Hague later if there are infringements or rules broken," he told Morgan.

"Lindsay is doing four or five tests a week and she has passed all of them with flying colors," quoted Michael as saying.

Lohan has been living a low-key lifestyle since she was freed from the court ordered program and even spent the weekend at home watching the Golden Globes on television.

"She`s doing really great right now.”"She is serious about staying healthy and is avoiding all the old things she used to do," Michael added.

William And Kate Middleton`S First Child Become The Queen

If Prince William and Kate Middleton`s first child is a girl, she would become the Queen, under a change in the royal succession laws being discussed by the British Government.

Ministers, who began talks to reform the system, said the rule of primogeniture, under which females are currently superceded in the line of succession by younger male siblings, might be ``discriminatory``, reports the Telegraph.

The 1701 Act of Settlement, which bans Catholics from the throne and bars monarchs from marrying Catholics, is also under discussion. The Cabinet Office said talks had been held with Commonwealth countries that would be affected by changes in the laws of succession.

Lorely Burt, a Liberal Democrat MP, has tabled a Commons motion calling on the government to `end these outdated, sexist and anti-Catholic aspects of the constitution`.

Recalling one scene, the 36-year-old said he became upset after being told to step back so that a stuntman could dive through a window.

"I just got up there and I went, `I`m jumping`... I`ve jumped from three-storey buildings in my own life after bad parties and stuff. The insurance came around... and they were just begging me not to," he said.

The Social Network Won Top Honours At The Golden Globes

The Facebook tale The Social Network won top honours Sunday at the Golden Globes with four prizes, including best drama and director, solidifying its prospects as an Academy Awards favourite.

Winning the dramatic lead-acting prizes were Colin Firth for the British monarchy saga The King’s Speech and Natalie Portman for the psychosexual thriller Black Swan.

Lead-acting honours for the Globes’ musical or comedy categories went to Annette Bening for the lesbian-family story The Kids Are All Right and Paul Giamatti for the curmudgeon tale Barney’s Version.

The boxing drama The Fighter earned both supporting acting Globes, for Christian Bale and Melissa Leo.

David Fincher, directing winner for The Social Network, said he thought it was strange when The Social Network script came to him, since he usually makes dark character studies about misanthropes or films about serial killers. His films include the murder tales Seven and Zodiac.

"I’m personally loath to acknowledge the kind of wonderful response this film has received for fear of becoming addicted to it, so suffice it to say, it’s been really nice," said Fincher, whose film also won the Globes for screenplay for Aaron Sorkin and musical score for Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.

Sorkin, creator of TV’s The West Wing, had kind words for Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, played by Jesse Eisenberg in The Social Network.

"Mark Zuckerberg, if you’re watching, Rooney Mara makes a prediction at the beginning of the movie. She was wrong. You turned out to be a great entrepreneur, a great visionary and an incredible altruist," Sorkin said.

While The Social Network dominated, it was a night with something for almost everybody, as most key films came away with prizes. The main snub was for the sci-fi blockbuster Inception, a best-drama contender that had four nominations but lost them all. Johnny Depp, who had two nominations for best musical or comedy actor, also left empty-handed.

The win by Portman as a ballerina coming unhinged amid a production of Swan Lake sets her up for a two-woman showdown for best actress at the February 27 Oscars with Bening, who won for her role as a stern lesbian mom in The Kids Are All Right, which also was named best musical or comedy film.

Portman thanked the film’s choreographer, her fiancé Benjamin Millepied, with whom she’s expecting a child. He also appears in the movie, and his character doesn’t want to sleep with hers.

"He’s the best actor! It’s not true, he totally wants to sleep with me," Portman said, giggling.

"Barney’s Version" follows the many loves in his life: his three wives, played by Rachelle Lefevre, Minnie Driver and Rosamund Pike, whom Giamatti described as "a trifecta of hotties."

"I got to smoke and drink and get laid in this movie and I got paid for it. An amazing, amazing thing," Giamatti said.

Bening won the musical or comedy actress prize in a field that included The Kids Are All Right co-star Julianne Moore. The film stars Bening and Moore as a couple whose family falls into turmoil after their teen children seek out the sperm donor that fathered them.

"I’m very proud to be a part of this very special film about two women who are deeply in love and try to keep their family together," Bening said. "My partner, Julianne Moore, I have to thank first. She asked me to do the picture with her. She made it possible for us to shoot it where we shot it, when we did, so Julianne - you are a class act, thank you."

The buzz around town on Globes weekend was not only about likely winners, but also about a lawsuit filed on Thursday by a former long-time publicist for the Globes claiming the organization that runs the show, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, engages in payola schemes for nominations and awards. The allegations have been denied by the HFPA, a group of about 90 reporters covering show business for overseas outlets.

Ricky Gervais returned as Globes host for the second-straight year. Gervais joked that Globe nominees weren’t picked just so that Globe voters could hang out with stars such as Depp.

"They also accepted bribes," Gervais said, referring to the publicist lawsuit.

Philip Berk, who heads the HFPA, made no reference to the lawsuit during his appearance early in the show, simply offering a perfunctory plug for the quality of Hollywood movies.

Gervais pulled few punches as the night progressed, mocking Hugh Hefner, Charlie Sheen, Cher, Bruce Willis, Mel Gibson, Scientologists and Robert Downey Jr., among others.

"Aside from the fact that it’s been hugely mean-spirited, with mildly sinister undertones, I’d say the vibe of the show is pretty good so far, wouldn’t you?" Downey, a presenter, shot back, perhaps only half-jokingly.

Bale, who won for his role as a former boxer whose career unravelled amid drugs and crime, thanked his collaborators on The Fighter, among them director David O. Russell and star and producer Mark Wahlberg, who plays boxer Micky Ward to Bale’s Dicky Eklund, Ward’s older half brother.

"I’ve really got to give a shout out to Mark, because he drove this whole movie, and you can only give a loud performance like the one I gave when you have a quiet anchor and a stoic character," Bale said. "I’ve played that one many times, and it never gets any notice."

Bale seems to be on the same awards track as his "Batman" co-star, the late Heath Ledger, was two years ago, when he won supporting actor at the Globes for The Dark Knight on the way to earning a posthumous Oscar.

Leo, who plays the domineering mother of Ward and Eklund, had gushing words for all of her co-stars - along with her own mother and other ancestors.

"Here in Southern California, home of my mother, her mother, her mother before her - look Mom, I got a Golden Globe!" Leo said. "Mark Wahlberg, you are a prince, you are amazing. It was so beautiful to play your mother."

"Toy Story 3," the top-grossing film released last year and the second sequel to 1995’s digital animation pioneer Toy Story, won the Globe for animated films, making Disney’s Pixar Animation unit five-for-five in the category since it was added in 2006. Past Pixar winners are Up, WALL-E, Ratatouille and Cars.

"Wow, were you two even born when the first Toy Story came out?" Toy Story 3 director Lee Unkrich said to his award’s presenters, 16-year-old pop star Justin Bieber and 14-year-old Hailee Steinfeld, co-star of the hit Western True Grit.

Robert De Niro received the Cecil B. DeMille Award for career achievement.

The usually taciturn De Niro gave an uncharacteristically interesting acceptance speech, making jokes about members of the HFPA being deported (along with most of the waiters working the event) and suggesting that most people in the room hadn’t seen a lot of the films he was proud of, including Stone, Marvin’s Room and Stanley and Iris.

"Some of you would be seeing them for the first time. You didn’t even watch the screeners, did you?" De Niro said.

Among TV winners, Glee won three prizes, best comedy and supporting-acting prizes for Jane Lynch and Chris Colfer. Boardwalk Empire won two prizes, for best drama and dramatic actor for Steve Buscemi.

The Globe ceremony traditionally had a strong track record as a forecast for what film would win best picture at the Oscars. But the two shows have split in recent times, with only one top Globe recipient - 2008’s Slumdog Millionaire - also winning the main prize at the Oscars over the past six years.

A year ago, the sci-fi sensation Avatar won best drama at the Globes, but the Iraq War saga The Hurt Locker took best picture at the Oscars.

John Travolta Receive The Golden Camera Award

John Travolta is all set to receive the Golden Camera award for best international actor.

The US actor will collect one of Germany’s top entertainment honours at a ceremony in Berlin on 5 February.

The ’Pulp Fiction’ star, 56, was praised by German listings magazine Horzu, organisers of the awards, as "one of the greatest actors in the world".

"The way John Travolta chooses his roles and the variety of characters he portrays shows a lot of courage," the BBC quoted Horzu as saying.

"He doesn’t follow the same pattern and always shows us a different face. By doing that he continues to amaze his audience."

"Receiving the Golden Camera best actor international award is a huge honour for me," said Travolta.

"I take great pride in my work and it’s wonderful to have it recognised in such a way.

“It`s put a timeline on my life. I`m 66 now. You know, I`m fortunate I`ve got a mother who`s 88. She`ll kill me. She may be 87. My father`s 94. So, you know, I feel good about those genes,” he said.“But it`s definitely a third act. And so you`re a little more conscious of your time in how you choose to spend it,” he added.

Douglas had been on tenterhooks waiting to see the results after completing his cancer treatment before Christmas. But last month, doctors told him his chances of a full recovery had increased to 80 percent and he was spotted taking his 42-year-old wife and two young children, Dylan, ten, and seven-year-old Carys on trips to Disney World and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Florida.

Michael Jackson's Doctor Face Up Four Years In Prison

Michael Jackson, desperate for sleep, warned a doctor on the day he died that he would have to cancel his comeback concerts unless he received a dose of "his milk" — the powerful anesthetic propofol, according to testimony from the lead detective in the case against Jackson`s doctor. As a result, Dr. Conrad Murray yielded and gave the singer a dose of propofol after a night of administering lesser drugs, detective Orlando Martinez said.Prosecutors said the combination of drugs was lethal and filed an involuntary manslaughter charge against Murray, who has pleaded not guilty.

Martinez, who interviewed Murray two days after Jackson`s death, gave a chilling step-by-step account at Murray`s preliminary hearing, saying the pop star lay dying while Murray administered CPR but didn`t call 911.Martinez, who spent nearly three hours interviewing Murray in the presence of his lawyers, said Murray told him he had been giving Jackson doses of propofol six nights a week for two months but was trying to wean him from the drug after becoming afraid his patient was becoming addicted. The detective said Jackson came home from rehearsal abut 1 a.m. on June 25, 2009, showered and got into bed. Murray said he immediately connected an intravenous tube to the singer`s leg and began giving him sedatives, according to Martinez.

The doctor said that began a night of continuous efforts to get the star to sleep. He told police he gave him the sedatives lorazepam and midazolam intravenously and supplied a valium pill, but nothing seemed to work.At 3:30 a.m. he said, Jackson fell asleep for about 10 minutes but then was awake again and complaining that if he didn`t get sleep he would have to cancel his much-anticipated "This is It" tour, the detective said.Murray spoke of feeling pressure to get Jackson to sleep and sometime between 10:40 a.m. and 10:50 a.m. gave him half his usual 50 milligram dose of propofol, Martinez said."It was an injection to get him to sleep and a slow drip to keep him sleeping," the detective said.

He said Jackson fell asleep about 11 a.m. and Murray felt comfortable enough to leave the room and go to the bathroom. He told the detective he was out of the room for two minutes and "was stunned to see Mr. Jackson not breathing" when he returned.Murray told police he started CPR through chest compressions then gave mouth-to-mouth resuscitation but did not consider calling 911."He said he was caring for his patient and did not want to neglect him," Martinez said.He said Murray also was asked why he was giving Jackson CPR on a soft bed rather than moving Jackson to the floor."Dr. Murray said he could not move him to the floor by himself," the witness said.

Deputy District Attorney David Walgren pointed out that Murray is 6 feet 5 inches and weighs about 225 pounds. The frail Jackson weighed about 136 pounds when he died.Phone records show 911 was not called until 12:21 p.m., and prosecutors contend the singer was dead before help arrived.Murray`s attorney Ed Chernoff asked Martinez if Murray had spoken of Jackson asking to self-administer propofol. He answered yes. "Mr. Jackson knew all about propofol before Dr. Murray came on the scene?" asked Chernoff. "Yes," said Martinez.

The detective was asked if Jackson had sought to "push the propofol" himself and he said that was correct. "Michael Jackson told Dr. Murray he liked to push it in himself and other doctors let him do that?" Chernoff asked. "Yes," sad the witness. "And Dr. Murray said he wouldn`t let him do that?" Chernoff asked. "Correct," answered the witness. Defense lawyers have presented little evidence during the hearing to decide if Murray should stand trial. Prosecutors have said they believe the defense will contend Jackson administered more propofol himself on the fateful day, leading to his death. Earlier testimony by a pharmacist showed Murray purchased 255 vials of propofol during the three months before the singer died. Murray bought 130 vials of propofol in 100-milliliter doses and another 125 vials in the smaller dose of 20 milliliters, said Tim Lopez, owner of Applied Pharmacy Services in Las Vegas, where Murray has a clinic.

The four shipments of propofol were purchased between April 6 and June 10, 2009, with most of the drugs shipped to the Santa Monica home of Murray`s girlfriend, testimony showed. Murray also purchased sedatives known as benzodiazpines, Lopez testified. Using phone records and testimony from police and Murray`s current and former girlfriends, prosecutors tried to show Murray was on the phone throughout the morning of Jackson`s death, even after administering propofol to the singer. They hope to convince a judge of several key points: that Murray was distracted when he should have been monitoring Jackson, that he delayed calling 911, that he botched CPR efforts and that the singer was dead before help was summoned. Murray could face up to four years in prison if tried and convicted.

Paltrow won a new legion of fans when she sang a version of the rapper`s hit, "Forget You," on a November episode of the TV musical "Glee." After the "SNL" announcement was made on Tuesday, speculation grew on Internet fan sites that Paltrow may sing with Cee Lo on the sketch comedy TV show.

Her father, Bruce Paltrow, was a director and producer who died in 2002 of complications from cancer and pneumonia.

"Cee Lo`s (first) record with Gnarls Barkley was called `St. Elsewhere,` which was the name of my dad`s show," said Paltrow. "I`ve always wondered -- you know, you kind of grasp at any connection to your deceased parent that you love. So, I wonder if there`s any connection there, or if he just liked the name."

In "Country Strong," Paltrow portrays a country music singer who mounts a comeback tour following her own struggles with alcohol and drug abuse.

2012 Is The NASA Worst Ever Science Fiction Film

Hollywood blockbuster 2012, starring John Cusack and Thandie Newton, is the worst ever science fiction film, according to NASA scientists. The US space agency said that the end-of-the-world flick is the most ‘scientifically flawed of its genre’.
